With over three decades of Banking experience in seven Banks, Mr Okey Ogelle has acquired strong knowledge in Operations, Treasury, FX and Foreign trade, Oil& Gas, Branch Banking, Retail, Sales, Customer Service, etc associated with general financial services.
An Executive Management Staff of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) up till 2nd January, 2021, where he voluntarily retired from the Bank.
He held various Management positions viz; Zonal Head – Owerri in charge of the Eastern States; Zonal Head – Rivers/Bayelsa States and finally the Regional Director – South/ East and South/South of the Bank where he was in charge of the Bank’s business in the entire eleven States of South East and South/South States.
A graduate of Economics and a Master’s Degree holder, Mr Ogelle has attended many local and International Professional/Leadership Courses. He is also an Alumnus of Lagos Business School/ Pan Atlantic University and INSEAD Business School, London.
He is a Chartered Member of the Nigerian Institute of Bankers and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Corporate Administration.
A quiet Philanthropist, Mr Ogelle identifies with any goal that puts smiles on people’s faces while encouraging noble ideas on Human Capital Development and education Foundations. In recognition of the above, he is a holder of many Chieftancy/ traditional titles and a recipient of numerous awards.
Mr Ogelle’s hobbies include reading, listening to music, and traveling. He is married with children.
